As we approach licensing under the European MiCA regulation, Altcoins.bg is entering a new stage of development. This means higher regulatory obligations, stricter internal processes, and an even greater responsibility to our clients and partners.
To meet this new phase the right way, we are expanding our team and looking for strong professionals to join key departments related to regulation, operations, and finance.

Position 1: Operational Risk Manager
We are looking for an Operational Risk Manager to support the development and maintenance of the operational risk framework in relation to MiCA licensing. The role includes assessment of risks across key processes and products, work with internal policies and control mechanisms, participation in the implementation of new services, incident analysis, and preparation of regular reports for management. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in financial or regulated environments, and the ability to structure processes and information clearly.

Position 2: Compliance Manager
We are looking for a Compliance Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining processes, systems, and technologies related to regulatory compliance, financial crime prevention, and AML requirements under MiCA. The role includes managing onboarding and client review processes, sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks, handling high-risk cases, and coordinating between the Compliance, Operations, and Product teams. The ideal candidate has experience in AML/CDD, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes.

Presence, location & travel
Both roles are on-site. The work is based in the Altcoins.bg office in Varna and is not offered fully remote.
- We accept candidates mainly from Varna and Sofia;
- If you are not based in Varna, you must be able to travel to the office when necessary (e.g., training, internal meetings, audits, regulatory processes, and other key activities).
We are looking for people who genuinely want to be part of the team in person, not only remotely.
Why the listings are in English
You will notice that the role descriptions are written in English.
This is intentional. We are looking for highly specialised professionals who will work with international standards, regulations, and daily communication and documentation in English. If English job descriptions are a serious barrier, this stage of our expansion is likely not the right fit for you.
